Since 1899, our history has been immersed in the tradition of the game and the fabric of Detroit. Our Clubhouse, designed by Albert Kahn in 1916, continues to welcome a wide cross-section of individuals and families, business leaders and more. From the moment Members drive up to this hidden gem, a beautiful setting and a broad range of activities for all ages are enjoyed. 

Members enjoy the luxury of playing on two signature golf courses designed by architect Donald Ross, the legend behind many of North America’s premier courses. Detroit Golf Club is proud to be one of less than 20 clubs across the continent which showcases two 18-hole Donald Ross courses, restored to their original glory.  Our celebrated courses have welcomed numerous professional golfers over the years, including modern day professionals during the first-ever PGA Tour Event to be held in the city of Detroit.

As a private club, we offer many amenities to which our Members have access. Our Clubhouse is home to three dining venues, which are also available for private functions. Our spacious swimming pool, outdoor tennis courts and fully-equipped fitness center provide numerous options to engage your athletic side.
