Detroit Golf Club offers two of the most challenging rounds of golf in the Detroit area. When it comes to designing premier golf courses, Donald Ross is a significant part of history. His layouts have challenged the best in the game for over 100 years and Detroit Golf Club is proud to provide our Members with two of his legacies.
At just over 7,000 yards from the Gold Tees, the North Course is the longer of the two. It features narrow, tree-lined fairways, which make club selection an important part of the round. The undulating greens and treacherous bunkering ensures you bring your a-game all the way up to the pin.
Our South Course is a little shorter, measuring just under 6,000 yards in comparison. Don’t be fooled by this. The long par 4’s and difficult greens make it every bit a challenge as its longer neighbor. The South Course features six Par 3's, each of which is sure to test your patience and mental toughness. This course is no pushover, in fact some believe it is the most traditional Donald Ross course this side of the Mississippi.
