Measuring 5,967 from the Black Tees, the South Course seems deceivingly short, but still remains a formidable challenge due to its numerous long par 4's and difficult par 3 greens. The current routing is quite different from the original. This moved the ninth hole from the southeast corner of the property to its present site, making a nine-hole round less of a chore.

U.S.G.A. Rules govern all play except where modified by local rules. Out of Bounds defined by White Stakes; Water Hazards by Yellow Stakes or Yellow Lines; Lateral Water Hazards by Red Stakes or Red Lines.
