INTER-CLUB JUNIOR TENNIS TEAM
Our tennis pros coach the inter-club junior tennis team for the Detroit Golf Club. Children ages 4 to 18 can participate in this great sporting event during the summer. The tennis team offers friendly competition and is a great way for children and parents to meet other families and participate in social activities together.
The Inter-Club Junior Tennis Team is divided into two rankings, Gold and Silver. The program includes regular weekly practices and instruction and matches both at the Detroit Golf Club and other private clubs in the area.
Junior Tennis Team Pre-Season Practices typically begin early June and run in the afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m. Children interested in this level of competitive tennis may attend an evaluation clinic and be placed accordingly.
The regular season practices begins later in June after school ends with the Silver Team Team practicing 1-2PM, Gold Team practicing 2-3PM and Bronze 3-3:45PM.
At the end of the season, there is an Inter-Club Championship event and dance party to conclude the program.
